Duncan McAlpin appointed County Surveyor and being qualified as 
such entered into bond with Thomas Barnes his security

Ordered that Joseph Taylor be overseer in room of Robt Haills

On motion ordered that an execution be issued against Luke Carter 
and his security in a certain appeal wherin Vaughn Hillborn is plaintiff 
and Luke Carter Defendant

Ordered that the following Justices take the lists of taxable property for 
the year 1805 (to wit) Captain Drakes District Thos Sewell Captain 
Jordans Zachariah Jordan Capt Lees Nicholas Powell Capt William 
Sterlings Wm Ashley Captain Stephen Sterlings - Stephen Sterling  for 
Capt Regan, Joseph Wood - Capt Blounts Thomas Barnes - Capt Little

Ordered that the sheriff summon the following persons to be jurors to

John McKay bound apprentice to Hugh McKay untill he arrive to the

age of twenty one years old now being seven

Ordered that John Blount constable be allowed the sum of twnety eight 
four shillings for his attendance during this term

Ordered that the sheriff summon a jury to lay of a road begining at the 
edge of Leith Creek Swamp thence direct to Mary McRaes old field 
along the old path to the county line in order to meet a road from 
Barnes bridge in Richmond County

Zachariah Jordan Esquire returned an execution at the Instance of 
James McQueen agt Hugh McCallum for the sum of twenty pounds 
thirteen shillings and nine pence & costs levied by Wiley Alford 
constable on one hundred and fifty acres of land the property of Hugh 
McCallum on the west side of Shoe Heel joining the state line and the 
Widow McCallums land Ordered that the sheriff sell the same

Court adjourned untill court in course
