oath of...." and then ordered to be registered; to eliminate redundancy, 
these have been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved 
by...."]

Ordered that Daniel McNeil be overseer in room of John Williams

Ordered that James Suggs be overseer of the road in room of Jesse 
Lee

Sampson Bridgers Esquire was chosen Chairman of this Court

Ordered that the County Tax be one shilling on each poll & four pence 
on every hundred acres of land

Ordered that the Jail Tax be one shilling on the poll in addition to the 
sum formerly said

Ordered that James Smith be overseer of the road in room of Jacob 
Allen

Ordered that the clerk of this Court be allowed the sum of twenty three 
pounds for his extra services & stationary for the last year

Ordered that the sheriff be allowed sixty pounds for his extra services 
for the year 1805

Thomas Lackleir a boy of colour bound apprentice to Sampson Pitman 
untill he arrive to the age of twenty one years old now being seven 
when said Pitman entered into bond in the sum of two hundred & fifty 
pounds with John Duncan his security for not moving said apprentice 
[out] of this county and to produce him before this court at the 
expiration of his servitude

Sarah Lackleir a girl of colour bound to Sampson Pitman untill she 
arrive to the age of eighteen years old now being eleven when said 
Pitman entered into bond in the sum of two hundred & fifty pounds with 
John Duncan his security for not moving said girl out of said county 
and to produce her before this court at the expiration of her service

Charity Ammons bound to Tabitha Watson untill she arrive to the age 
of eighteen years old now being seven

William Simson bound apprentice to Marmaduke Oswell untill he arrive 
to the age of twenty one years old now being twelve

Bill of sale from Isaac Sullivan to Neill McAlpin for a Negro boy named 
Pharoah proved by Daniel Shaw

Thomas Barnes John Regan & Peter Lamon Esquires who was 
appointed a committee to settle with the admrs of John McKay 
deceased made their report

Neill Ray apppointed constable in Captain McEacharns District who 
entered into bond with Daniel McPhaul Esqr his security

Bill of sale from Neill McLeod to Dugald McLauchland proved by 
Alexander Patterson

Joseph Wood Esqr John Regan James Smith and Simon Willis who 
were appointed to lay off one years provision for Ann Powers out of her 
deceased husbands estated reported that they have laid off the same

Administration on the estate of Jesse Carrel was granted to John 
Danielly who entered into bond in the sum of one hundred pounds with 
Angus Munroe his security and qualified as such agreeable to law & 
also returned an inventory of the deceaseds estate

Court adjourned untill to morrow 9 oclock
