Court adjourned untill tomorrow ten oclock

Thursday January the 9th 1806

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Zachariah Jordan Joseph Wood & John Regan 
Esquires

Ordered that John Regan Esquire be allowed the sum of three pounds 
to reimburse him for a book purchased for the use of the county

Ordered that Williamson Rozier be exempt from working on publick 
roads

Ordered that John Blount constable be allowed the sum of thirty two 
shillings for his attendance during this term & eight shillings for one 
days attendance at last elections

Ordered that Thomas Shanks be overseer of the road in room of 
Jacob Blount

Ordered that Lachlin Curry be overseer of the road in room of 
Zachariah Jordan

Ordered that John McRae be overseer of the new road ? off by a jury 
in consequence of an order issued last court begining near John 
McLeods? plantation and from thence to the county line and that 
James McQueens hands Alexander McRae Daniel Curry John Morison 
John McInnis Junr open the same & after it is opened each of those 
hands to work on the roads to which they now belong

Ordered that the sheriff summon the following gentlemen to attend as 
Jurors to the next term to wit Angus McCallum Archibald McLean 
Daniel McLean Neil Baker John Campbell James McNeil Duncan 
McMillan John McPhalen Malcom McEachen Daniel McCallum Shoe
