Deed from Benjamin Moore to John Applewhite proved by Richard Powell

Merideth Musslewhite an orphan child of the age of fifteen years was bound to 
John Dow? untill he arrives at the age of twenty one years

Deed from John McNeil to Noah Pittman proved by Robert Haills

Ordered that John Regan Esquire be guardian to John B. Brown and Catherine 
Brown who accordingly entered into bond with Jonathan Wishart his security in 
the sum of twenty six hundred dollars

Deed from Thomas Barnes to Duncan Currie acknowledged

Ordered that Jordan Phillips be overseer of the creek and that all the hands 
between Hawthorns mill path and below Peters Swamp work under him

Ordered that the Executor of the last will & testament of William Regan 
deceased divide the property belonging to said Estate agreeable to Said Will

Court adjourned untill tomorrow 10 oclock

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Thomas Sewell Samuel Biggs John Little Esquires

Ordered that Elisha Harrels hands work under William Humphrey overseer as 
formerly

Ordered that the Administrator of Meady Lamb deceased sell the perishable 
property belonging to the estate 

Ordered that the sheriff summon the following gentlemen to view the old road 
leading from Lumberton to Fayetteville and also the rout contemplated for the 
new road according to Mr. Rhodes petition and report to next term which will be 
most proper to be kept up... / to wit / John Storm Robert Haills Charles Pate 
James Humphry William Townsend Joseph Newberry John Porter Jonathan Wishart 
Joshua Hawthorn Henry Bird Thomas Sewell & William Humphry...

and also that the former order on Mr. Rodes petition be recinded

Ordered that Daniel McMillan be overseer of the road in room of Alexander 
Johnstone

Ordered that Jacob Mercer Constable be allowed the sum of twenty four shillings 
for his attendance this term

Ordered that John Blount Constable be alloweed the sum of thirty two shillings 
for his attendance during this term
