Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipfull Joseph Wood John Regan & Sion Allford Esqrs

Ordered that Dugal Leach Silas Overstreet John Campbell & Negroes Archabald 
Gilchrist and his two Negroes work on the Post Road from John Campbells Bridge 
to John M'Phauls mill under Solomon Wolks Overseer

Administration on the estate of Gordon Chase Deceased granted to David Legget 
who entered into bond in the sum of forty pounds with Jacob Rhodes his security

Ordered that the hands working on the road under Jesse Council work the same 
from Cumberland County line to the North side of the little Marsh Bridge

Ordered that the sheriff summon the following gentlemen to divide the 
Perishable property of the Estate of Meedy Lamb deceased among the heirs of 
said estate [no list of gentlemen]

Ordered that John Blount constable be allowed the sum of forty shillings for 
his attendance at this term

Ordered that the sheriff summon the following gentlemen to turn the old road 
leading from Lumberton to Fayetteville and also the point contemplated for the 
new road according to Jacob Rhodes petition and report to next term to wit John 
Storm Robert Haills Charles Pate James Humphry William Townsend Joseph Newberry
