Bill of sale from John Hendley [and?] Lewis Thompson to John Hendley admited to 
record on oath of Needham Rowland

Inventory of the estate of Joshua Ammonds deceased returned, ordered to be filed

Molsey Campbell an orphan of the age of seven years was bound to Sarah Little 
until she arive at the age of 18 years

Rachel Pinckney an orphan child of the age of three years bound apprentice to 
Sally Little untill she arrive at the age of 18 years

Court adjourned untill tomorrow 10 oclock

Wednesday April the 8th 1807

Court met according to adjournment 

Present the worshipful Thomas Sewell Esquire

Ordered that John Storm John Regan and Robert Haills be a committe to settle 
the estate James Odam Deceasd

Ordered that James Lilley be overseer of the road in the room and district of 
Henery Bulock

Ordered that William Moore be overseer of the road in the room and district of 
Silas Drake

Zachariah Jourdan Esquire was elected Clerk of this Court in room of James 
McQueen resigned who took the necessary oaths as such and entered into bond 
with Sion Alford & David Torry Esquirs

Nicholas Powell Esquire returned an attachment against Benjamin Woods at the 
Instance of Needham Rowland for the sum of sixteen pounds five shillings levied 
on a tract of land on the south side of Ashpole joining lands of Slaughter Hill 
Thomas Hill and Needham Rowland suppose to contain one thousand two hundred 
acres more or less

Nicholas Powell Esquire returned an Execution against Bennet Locklear for the 
sum of eighteen pounds and five shillings and 17/ cost at the Instance of 
William Hill levied on two hundred acres of land on the south side of the 
Meadow Branch joining lands of Slaughter Hill ordered that the sheriff sell the 
same

William Ashley Esquire returned an Execution against William Taylor for the sum 
of ten shillings & costs at the Instance of John McNeil and levied on 49 acres 
of land the property of said Taylor on this side of Ashpole Swamp on Grassy 
Bog? ordered that the sheriff sell the same
