At a Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions Begun and held for the 
County of Robeson on the first Monday in July and thirty second year 
of the American Independence Anno Domini 1807

Present the Worshipfull Joseph Wood Duncan Campbell John Flowers 
& Archd McNeill Esquires

Ordered that Hector McKinzie and Duncan Johnston do work on and 
keep the Bridge formerly McKinzie's Bridge

Ordered that Briton Barnes work the following hands (To wit) Elijah 
Bass Meredeth Barnes Jeecy? Barnes and John Popes Hands

Ordered that Alexander Revins Archd Graham and Danl McMillen do 
work on the road leading from the Raft Swamp to the Lumber bridge 
under Danl McMillen Overseer

Ordered that Randol Currie Archd McNeill Senr and Archd McNeill Junr 
settle with the Admrs of Danl McPherson Decd and reporte to next 
term

Deed from Jesse Lee to James Barke acknowledged

Deed from John Johnston to John Bethune proven by Duncan Bethune

Deed from Duncan Little to John Johnston proven by Duncan Bethune

A Power of Attorney from Abram Dubois Senior of the City of 
Philadelphia and Mary L Dubois his wife to Abram Dubois Junior which 
did appear to have been acknowledged before Robert Wharton Esq 
Mayor of the City of Philadelphia was produced by the said Abram 
Dubois Junior and ordered to be Registered

Deed from Angus Carter to Jesse Lee proved by William Moore

Martha Barnes appointed Guardian to her daughter Martha Barnes and 
entered into bond in the sum of seven hundred and fifty pounds with 
Alfred Rowland her security

James McNeil chosen guardian of Hugh McPherson? a minor orphan 
and entered into bond in the sum of three thousand dollars with 
Archibald McNeill his security

Elkanah Hammons who was formerly bound to Elijah Revells was by 
the said Revells given up to the Court upon which he was rebound to 
Jacob Mercer untill he be 21 years of age he being now ten

The Committee who was appointed to Settle with Neill McNeill former 
guardian of Jennet McNeill made their report which was ordered to be 
filed

The Jury who was appointed to lay off the road so as to miss the 
Nuisance occasioned by Jacob Rhodes's mill pond reported ordered 
that the same be filed

Court adjourned untill Tomorrow 9 oclock
