these have been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved

Deed from Samuel Dubois attorney in fact for Samuel Meeker to John 
McNair proved by William Regan

William Carlisle who was fined at last term 15/ for his nonattendance 
as a juror was cited to this term to show cause why he did not attend 
and appeared & did not make such excuse as would releave him from 
said fine.  Ordered that execution issue against him accordingly.

Court adjourned untill tomorrow nine oclock

Friday October 9th day 1801 etc

Court meet according to adjournment

Present the worshipfull Joseph Regan William McNeill & Joseph Lee 
Esquires

John Blount allowed fourty shillings for his attendance this term as 
constable

Deed from Christopher McKay to John McKay proved by Angus 
McMillan

Deed from Samuel Dubois attorney in fact for Samuel Meeker to 
Roderick Stewart proved by William Regan

Deed from Samuel Dubois attorney in fact for Samuel Meeker to John 
McKay proved by William Regan

Deed from Robert Haills to Abram Brown proved by John McNeill

John Best appointed constable in Captain Begans District who entered 
into bond with Joseph Wood his security

Ordered that the hands taken form the road on which John Councill is 
overseer at the last term be restored to the said road and work on the 
same accordingly

Jennett McKay widow of John McKay deceased came into court and 
petitioned to have so much of the provisions stock etc of the estate of 
her deceased husband allotted as well be sufficient for the support of 
herself and children one year

Ordered that Robert Haills Esquire John Noys William Moore and john 
McNeill be appointed to allot and set apart so much of the stock 
provisions etc of said estate as wiill be sufficient for their support 
agreable to an act of Assembly in such case made and provided

Deed from Samuel Dubois attorney in fact for Samuel Meeker to John 
Smith proved by William Regan

Ordered that Joel Pitman overseer of the road hereafter work his 
hands from John Rowlands to Andrew Fulmores

Ordered that Moses Hill overseer with his hands hereafter work on the 
road from John Rowlands to the South line

Court adjourned untill court in course
