Court adjourned untill tomorrow 10 oclock

Thursday January 7th 1808

Court met according to adjournment

Present Sion Alford Alexander Rowland & John McNeill Esquires

Ordered that John Powell be overseer of the Creek in room of Samuel Storm

Administration on the estate of James Rowland Decd was granted to James Lee who 
entered into bond with John Hesters and Irvin Grimsley his security in the sum 
of two hundred pounds.  An appeal from this Decree of the Court to the Superior 
Court was prayed and granted

Ordered that Robert Haills William Ashley and John McNeill be assessors of town 
property for the year 1807

The administrator of the estate of Meedy Lamb returned an account of Sales of 
said estate which was ordered to be filed

The Administrators of the estate of Needham Rowland returned an Inventory of his 
Estate which was ordered to be filed

Deed from Robert Haills former Sheriff to John McKay acknowledged

Deed from Robert Haills Sheriff to John Willis acknowledged

Deed from Robert Haills esquire to John P. Martin acknowledged

Deed from John P. Martin to Jesse Lee acknowledged

Deed from Elias Barnes and Thomas Barnes to John P. Martin proved by Jesse Lee 
and Zephaniah Leonard

Thomas Davis entered his bond as entry taker of this County in the sum of two 
thousand pounds with Jacob Rhodes and John Brook his security
