Ordered that the following gentlemen be summoned by the Sheriff as

Hawthorn Charles Thompson Elias Alford Jacob Rhodes Gilbert 
Sellars John Campbell Danl McNeill Angus Murphy Malcom Murphy 
Philip Spears Archd McCollum Archd Gilchrist Gilbert Layton John 
Regan Junr Dugald McMillin Robert McLaughlin John McPhaul Danl 
Wilkingson John Willis John Humphry Duncan McNeill and Malcom

Ordered that Evan Ellis Constable be alowed the sum of Twenty four 
shilling for his attendance on the Grand Jury this term

("resind?") Ordered that Jacob Mercer be allowed the sum of forty 
shillings for his attendance as Constable this term

Sion Alford Esqr who was appointed ranger in Capt Jourdans District 
Quallified as such 

Ordered that John Blount be allowed the sum of thirty two shillings for 
his attendance at this term

William Sterling agent of Stephen Sterling vs William Norment 
garnishee Ordered by the Court in this case that as William Norment 
neglected to Comply with the order made

at the last term that he should Deliver up 12000 feet of lumber to the 
Sheriff at least ten days before this Court to be sold on acct of the 
plaintiffs Judgment which quantity of Lumber he confesed on his 
garnishment that he was Indebted to Charles Stewart the orriginal 
Defendant in this suit that a Jury be empanelled to ascertain the value 
of 12000 feet of Lumber as aforesaid and that Judgment be entered 
against William Norment for the amount of their valuation – the 
following Jury was empanelled accordingly (to wit)

John Hesters
James Lee

Isaac Sullivan
Rowland Edwards & 
Richard Lamb

Who find the value of 12000 feet of Lumber to be sixty pounds & the 
Court direct Judgt to be entered against William Norment for that sum 
to be applied to the payment of the plaintiffs Judgment
