to Settle with the administrator of Theophilus Thompson Deceased and 
that they report to next Court

At a Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions begun and held for the 
County of Robeson at the Town of Lumberton on the first Monday in 
April and 32d year of Our Independence Anno Domini 1808

Present the Worshipful William Ashley William Ward & William Sterling 
Esquires

Ordered that Archibald McDugalds mark be a Crop in the right Ear a 
Slit in the left and a half moon over the same

Ordered that William Kinlaw be overseer of the road in room of Samuel 
Willis

Ordered that Neill Thompson be overseer of the road in room of 
Joseph Councill

Ordered that Daniel McDuffy be exempt from the payment of the tax on 
one white poll given in by mistake

Ordered that the Sheriff summon the following gentlemen as a Jury to 
lay off the Dower of Elizabeth Pope out of her Deceased husbands 
estate /viz / Angus Taylor Charles ? John Storm William Ashley John 
McNeill Geo Grimsley William Ward Henry Purvis William Atkison 
Robert Haills Israel Campbell Stephen Sterling Francis Hayes?
