County court minutes 1797-1813, North Carolina, Superior Court (Robeson County)

Allen Harrington a minor orphan now of the age of six years was bound to 
Benjamin Jenkins untill he arrive at the age twenty one

An Inventory of the estate of John McMillan deceased was returned by his 
administrator

Richard Lamb was appointed guardian to Polly Lamb Stephen Lamb Nancy Lamb and 
David Lamb minor orphans who entered into bond in the sum of four hundred pounds 
with John Hawthorn and Nathan Hawthorn his securities

Administration on the estate of Joseph Arnet granted to Sally Delone who entered 
into bond in the sum of one hundred dollars with Samuel Rowland and Zadock Arnet 
her securities

Benjamin Lee Esquire was constituted guardian to Sarah Ann Pope a minor orphan 
when he entered into bond in the sum of one thousand pounds with John Pope his 
security

Wiley Alford Constable renewed his bond

Shadrach Howell appointed constable in Captain Sullivans District who entered 
into bond with Benjamin Blount his security

Joshua Grantham appointed constable in Captain Barnes District who entered into 
bond with Moses Hill and Moses Grantham his securities

John Pope appointed guardian to Willis Pope a minor orphan who entered into bond 
in the sum of two thousand pounds with Benjamin Lee his security

Robert Haills esq appointed Coroner of this County who entered into bond in the 
sum of eight hundred pounds with Alfred Rowland and James McQueen his securities

Court adjourned untill tomorrow 10 oclock

Thursday April 7th 1808

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipfull Joseph Wood William Ashley Alexander Rowland & Joseph 
Regan Esquires

The administrator of Joseph Belton returned an inventory of the estate
