Ordered that Peter Johnson be overseer of the road in room and district of Neill 
McLean

Ordered that the hands who work under Josiah G? be added to the hands who work 
under John Gowing and that the whole of them work under said Gowing from Mrs 
Rowlands plantation to the state line

Ordered that Willis Hammons and James Campbell work on the Creek under Jacob 
Mercer overseer

Ordered that the mark used by James Barnes Junr be a swallow fork and over half 
moon on the left ear and an under mark in the right ear

Ordered that Duncan Campbelll guardian of William Jones Seabon sell the 
perishable property in his possession belonging to the said William Jones Seabon 
for his benefit and use

Ordered that the following absent Jurors be fined forty shillings each To Wit 
Angus McLean William Brown Senr John McRae Gilbert Sellers Lacklin Curry Henry 
Trawick Trawick John Hawthorn Senr Malcom Thompson and John Johnson

Deed Archibald McNeill and John McNeill to Angus Kelley proven by Duncan Curie

Deed from Arthur Braswell to Moses Hill proven by Dickson Flowers

Administration of the estate of Archd McCollum deceased was granted to Angus 
McCollum who entered into bond with Danl McCollum his security

Administration of the estate of Malcom Blue dececed was granted to John Curry 
who entered into bond with Neill McNair and Duncan Currie his security

Duncan Campbell appointed guardian to Cathrean Moore who entered into bond in 
the amount of twenty five pound with James Stone his security

Court adjourned untill tomorrow 10 oclock

Tuesday 3rd October 1809

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Saml Biggs John Hesters Danl Buie Esquires

Ordered that Alexander Patterson Neill McAlpin and Neill Wilkingson be a 
committee to settle with and divide the estate of Colin Sinclar decd among the 
lawful heirs
