When the sheriff returned the Venire Facias and the Court selected the following 
gentlemen to serve as Grand Jurors during this term To Wit William Barnes John 
Drake John McKellar Dougald McKellar Noah Pitman John McCallum Alexr McKay John 
McNair Daniel Buie Malcom McMillan John Willis Hardy Pope Malcom McNeill John 
McPhaul Meredith Mercer – and at the same time John Blount was sworn Constable 
to attend them
