Robeson County Tuesday Feby 26th 1811

Present the worshipful John Hesters Moses Hill Nicholas Powell Esquires

Ordered that Charles Thompson have leave to build a mill accross the Horse Swamp
on his own land

Ordered that Joseph Lee have leave to errect a mill accross the Old Field Swamp
where the old mill formerly stood

Ordered that Nancy Lamb widow of Meedy Lamb be allowed fifty dollars out of the
property belonging to the deceased's estate for the purpose of mantaining 4
children for one year

Ordered that John Freeman Hardy Freeman Benjamin Freeman and Samuel Elkins work
on the Creek under Henry Taylor overseer

Deed from John Pope to Noah Pitman proven by Bengeman Lee

Ordered that Charles Moore Alfred Rowland Thomas Sewell Bengeman Lee and Angus
Taylor Esqrs be a committee with full power and authority to contract with a
proper Workman and to superintend and to have finished the Court House of
Robeson County in such manner as they deem proper and adviseable upon an
economical plan and that they be authorized to draw upon the County Trustee for
such money as may be requisite to carry this order into effect
