At a Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions begun and held for the County of
Robeson in the Town of Lumberton on monday the 7th day of July 1806

Present the worshipful

Archibald Currie was appointed constable in Captain McPhauls? district who
enteredi nto bond with Archibald ? his security

Deed from John ? to ? McMillan which was proved in South Carolina by the
oath of Duncan Brown before Robert Grigg? Esquire by virtue of a Dedimus
issued from this court was admited to record

Account of sales of the estate of Daniel Johnson deceased amounting to
£250.3 was returned by administrators

Letters of administration on the estate of Duncan Currie deceased was
granted to Angus Currie who entered into bond in the sum of three hundred
pounds with Duncan McNeill and Archibald Currie his securities, at the
same time he returned an inventory of the estate of sd deceased

Ordered that Briton Britt pay to Trecy Looper [the sum] of seven pounds
for the maintenance of a bastard [child] for one year

Ordered that Jacob Blount senr? be overseer of the road in room of Thomas
Hanks

Ordered that Daniel McIntosh Daniel McPherson? and Murdock McLeod work
Daniel Campbell? [overseer?] of the road as usual
