Ordered that John Blount Constbl be allowed the sum of forty shillings 
for his attendance at this term

Ordered that Jacob Mercer be allowed the sum of forty shillings for his

At a Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions begun and held for the 
County of Robeson at the Town of Lumberton on the first Monday of 
October and the thirty third year of Our Independence AD 1808

Present the worshipful Alexander Rowland John McNeill and Archibald 
McNeill Esquire

Ordered that William Barnes (Capt) be overseer of the road in room of 
John McCormaig

Ordered that Joseph Regan Esq John Regan (Junr) be a committee to 
settle with Sarah Drury Administratrix of the Estate of Morgan Drury 
deceased and report to next court

Ordered that Malcom Mathews be overseer of the road in room of 
Daniel McMillen

Absalom Pitman appointed Constable in Captain Newberrys district 
who entered into bond with Stephen Sterling Philip his securities
