Wednesday October 5th 1808

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Sampson Bridgers Alexander Rowland & Moses Hill Esquires

Ordered that Isaac Bledsoe be overseer of the road in room of Britton Barnes and 
that the former hands work under him

Ordered that Marmaduke Etheredge be overseer of the Creek in room of Lewis 
Jenkins & that Thomas Boon and one of Charles Thompsons hands work under him

Ordered that John McLean be overseer of the road in room of William McRea

Ordered that Hector McNeill be overseer of the road in room of Daniel Stewart

Ordered that Thomas Bullard Wiley Barnes James Lewis work under Michael Herring 
overseer of the road

The committee who were appointed to settle with James McNeill guardian of Hugh 
McPherson made their report

Court adjourned till 10 oclock tomorrow

Thursday October 6th 1808

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipfull Sampson Bridgers A Rowland John McNeill Esquires

Ordered that Francis Hanes William Sterling and Jacob Pope be appointed a 
committee to divide the remaining parte of the estate of Wright Legget between 
William Legget and Elizabeth Legget his heirs and allso to settle with the admr 
of the estate

Alexander Patterson Esqr Executor of the last will and testament of Danl 
Patterson decd came into court and qualified as such

Ordered that Alexr Johnston be overseer of the road in room of Absolum Davis 

Ordered that William Kinlaw? be overseer of the road in the room of Saml Willis  

Ordered that Neill McLain be overseer of the road in the room of John McBride

Deed from Angus Gilchrist to John Malcom and Sarah Curries proven in open court

Deed from Henery Taylor to Willis Taylor proven by Willis Hamons
