At a Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions begun and held at the Town 
of Lumberton for the County of Robeson on Monday the 3d day of April 
and XXXIII year of our Independence AD 1809

Present the worshipfull John Regan Archibald McNeill & John Flowers 
Esquires

Ordered that John McNatt's mark shall be a swallow fork in the right 
ear and half moon under the left

Ordered that the following hands work under Frederick Davis overseer 
to wit Thomas Harrington John McMillan McAlpins negroe Lewis and 
Mathew Powers two negroes

Ordered that John Blount Constable be allowed the sum of sixteen 
shillings for his attendance on the Grand Jury at the Superior Court 
March Term 1808  [in margin:] issued and paid by shff
