At a Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions begun and held at the Town 
of Lumberton for the County of Robeson on Monday the third day of 
July and in the year of our Lord 1809 and of the Independence of the 
United States the thirty third

Present the worshipful Sampson Bridgers Thomas Sewell and Samuel 
Biggs Esquires

Ordered that Thomas Sewell and Samuel Biggs be a committee to 
examine the account of the County Treasurer and report to this term

Ordered that John Regan Register of this County be allowed the sum 
of four pounds two shillings and six pence for stationary used in his 
office [in margin:] Issued

Ordered that Daniel McNeill be overseer of the road in room of John 
McCorvey [in margin:] Issued

Ordered that Archibald McLain be overseer of the road in room of 
Abram Paul and that the former hands work under him

John Regan Esquire renewed his bond with James McQueen and 
Jonathan Wishart his securities
