Ordered that the following take the List of Taxable property in this 
County for the present year

To Wit

Captain Barnes district – Nicholas Powell
Sterlings district – William Sterling
Drakes district – Thomas Sewell
Jordans district – Malcom Nicholson
Popes district – Joseph Newberry
Sullivans district – Joseph Wood
Blounts district – Angus Taylor
Biggs district – Daniel Buie
McKays district – William McNeill
McPhatters district – Archd McNeill Junr
McNeills district – Archd McNeill Senr
Littles district – John Little Esquire

The sheriff returned the Venire Facias when the following gentlemen 
were selected to serve as Grand Jurors during this term to Wit John 
Storm Foreman William Barnes Duncan Little Isaac Sullivan Robert 
Inman Warren Alford Mathew Jones Thomas HIll Thomas Musselwhite 
Simon Willis John Regan William McRie Duglas Powell And at the 
same time Jacob Mercer was sworn Constable to attend them

Ordered that Jacob Blount Junr be overseer of the road form the ten 
mile swamp to Lumberton except that parte on wich Jacob Rhodes is 
oversear (that parte caled the new road)

Ordered that Jacob Rhodes be overseer of that parte of the road 
leading from Lumberton to Fayetteville called the new road which the 
said Rhodes lately opened and that he work his own hands and no 
others and to continue as such for six months and deliver the same in 
good repair

Ordered that the old road from Lumberton to Fayetteville be 
discontinued from where the new road laid off in consequence of 
Jacob Rhodes pettition to where the two roads intersects each other 
near Shankses plantation

The reporte of the Jury who were appointed to lay of the road from 
Lumberton to Shanks plantation was presented to the court and on 
motion the said report was rejected
