John and Charles Walker vs Alen McLachlin  

In this Case it is 

Ordered that a commission issue to Malcom Nicolson and Sion Alford 
esquires or either of them to take the deposition of Archibald Leach a 
witness and that ten days notice be given to the defendant - which 
deposition is to be read in Court as evidence in behalf of the Plaintiffs

Ordered that Alen Picket have leave to turn the road round by his 
plantation and the part as turns shall be by him put in legal? order 
before the overseer shall receive it

Ordered that Joshua Hinson be overseer of the road in room of John 
Lewis and that the hands who were taken from the Fair Bluff Road be 
discharged from working under him

Ordered that Daniel Buie Alexr Patterson and Sherwood Fort esquires 
settle with and ascertain what compenasation is due to Duncan 
Campbell guardian of William J. Seahon and report to next term

Ordered that James Humphry be overseer of the road in room of 
William Humphry and work from a certain ? near Jacob Rhodes mill to 
Elisha Harrels

The last will and testament of William Moore deceased proved by 
Dougald McLauchlin one of the subscribing witnesses and ordered to 
be filed when at the same time John Regan Esq and William Moore 
Junior qualified as Executors to the same

The last will and testament of John McNeill deceased proved by Neill 
Ferguson one of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be filed – when 
Alexander McNeill qualified as Executor to the same
