County court minutes 1797-1813, North Carolina, Superior Court (Robeson County)

[Deeds were always either "acknowledged in open court" or "proved by oath 
of...." and then ordered to be registered; to eliminate redundancy, these have 
been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved by...."]

Ordered that John Cliborn be exempt from serving on Juries in future for reason 
shown to the Court

In the suit Archd Campbell vs Alexr Graham and Neil McQuilkin Alexr Patterson 
esq and Daniel McCraney were securities for the stay of execution agreeably to 
Law

Ordered that the following rules be observed by this Court in future viz

1st All County business to be done the first day of the term

2. On the second day Civil causes shall be cried

3. On the third day State Docket taken up

4. Civil Docket the remaining part of the term

Publication to be of the above rules by the Clerks advertising the same in 
different places

Deed from Charles Barker to John Biggs acknowledged

Ordered that John Blount Constable be allowed thirty two shillings for his 
attendance at this term
