Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Thomas Sewell Sion Alford Angus Taylor Esquires

William Coleman was appointed Constable in Captain Pitmans District and entered 
into bond with Jesse Lee his security

At a Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions Begun and held for the County of 
Robeson at the Town of Lumberton on Monday the 27th day of August Anno Domini 
and in the 35th year of American Independence

Present the worshipful Charles Moore Alexander Patterson William Thompson 
Esquires

Ordered that John McNair be overseer of the road in room and district of William 
Russell

Ordered that James Smith be overseer of the road in room of John Hillborne

Ordered that Duncan McMillan be overseer of the road from Gilchrists Bridge to 
the Raft Swamp Bridge in room of Gilbert Gilchrist

Ordered that John Little be overseer of the road and work on Alexander Littles 
Bridge on the Great Marsh
