John Wilkes who was appointed Entry taker of this County took the 
necessary oaths and entered into bond with Samuel Biggs and Philip 
Wilkison his securities in the sum of two thousand pounds

William Coleman was appointed constable and entered into bond with 
Jesse Lee his security

Deed from Ephraim Cliborne to Mathew Jones proved by William 
Barnes

a bastard child ordered to be filed

James Alfred Constable renewed his bond with James McQueen his

A petition was presented to the Court for leave to open a road from the 
Sandy Bluff on Lumber River to William Humphreys – was granted

Ordered that the sheriff summon a jury to lay off the same and make 
return to next Court

Bill of sale from William Barnes to Rachel Barnes proved by Isham 
Pitman

Duncan Campbell guardian of William S. Seahon filed an account 
against the estate of his ward

John Buchan returned the amount of sales of the estate of Angus 
Buchan to Wit nine pounds – which was ordered to be filed

Deed from Richard Thomas and Raburn Redding to John Willis proved  
by Joseph Regan
