At a Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions opened and held at the Town of
Lumberton for the County of Robeson on Monday the 25th day of November and 36th
year of our Independence Anno Domini 1811

Present the worshipful Sion Alford Joseph Wood Thomas Sewell Esquires

The sheriff returned the Venire Facias and the Court selected the following
gentlemen to serve as Grand Jurors during this term to Wit

3  Daniel Stewart
4  Samuel Britt
5  Peter McGeachy
6  Jesse Pittman
7  Hugh McGugan
8  Malcom Brown
9  Danl McAlpin
10 John Campbell
11 William Morris

13 Archd Smith
14 Angus McLean
15 Charles Councill

and at the same time John Blount was sworn Constable to attend them

Ordered that Archd Little Junr be overseer of the road in room of John McNair

Ordered that Josiah Thompson Edward Currie and John McNair be a comittee to
settle with Archd Little [guardian] of John Little and reporte to next term

Ordered that Neill McLain be overseer of the road in room of Archd McMillan

Ordered that Saml Smith and Malcom McNeill work on the road under Capt Black as
usual?

Ordered that John Lewis be overseer in the room of John Gowen

Ordered that the sheriff summon a jury to view and lay off that part of the
Public Road which Captain William Barnes wishes to turn round his plantation
