these have been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved

Ordered that Joseph Regan James Smith & John Willis lay off a years 
provision for Elizabeth Kinlaw out of the estate of her deceased 
husband William Kinlaw

Ordered that John Gilchrist Wheelwright be overseer of the road in 
room and district of Archibald Wilkison

Bela W Strong Esquire produced his License as attorney at Law and 
was admited to practice in this Court

Ordered that Willis Pope be overseer of the road from Lumberton 
Bridge to the ten mile Swamp

Ordered that the sheriff summon the following gentlemen to attend as 
Jurors at the next Superior Court to Wit Duncan McMillan Nicholas 
McLachlen Joseph Wood Murdock McInnis Nicholas Powell Alexander 
McNeill Joseph Kitchen Malcom McNeill esq Archd Smith Junr John 
McCormick William Thompson George Ikner Noah Pitman Junior 
Elisha Harrel Mathew Councill James Moore Randal Curry John 
McLean Evan Ellis Alexr Evans Archd McCallum Hugh Brown W

Nathaniel Hawthorn John McPhatter & Joseph Regan

Duncan McBryde and Absolam Davis esqrs came into Court and 
produced their Commissions as Justices of the peace for the County of 
Robeson and took the several oaths necessary for their quallification 
as such

Ordered that all the hands that worked on the Lumberton Road from 
Duncan McNeills Bridge to the County line do in future work on the 
Stage Road by Colin Lindsays as formerly

Ordered that Joseph Wood John Regan and Joseph Regan esquires 
be a committee to lay off the dower of Anne Powers and that they 
report to next term

Ordered that the following hands be exempt from working on any road 
and that they keep up and in good repair the Bridge called Forts Bridge 
on the Raft Swamp to Wit Jesse Harrels two hands – Saml Smith 
Malcom McMillan John McMillan & Archibald McMillan and that they 
work under the direction of Saml Smith abovementioned

Ordered that Nathan Powell be exempt from Public duty untill his 
health is restored
