Ordered that Michael Herring be overseer of the road in room of 
Joshua Herring on the lower part of the road leading from Joseph Lees 
plantation to Griffins Bluff and that the following hands work under him 
to Wit Joshua Herring John Herring Joshua Barnes Wiley Barnes 
Josiah Barnes Giles Herring Isham Mathews William Lee Burwell Lee 
James Barnes William Grimsley William Legget and Josiah Pitman

Ordered that Thomas Sewell esq be overseer of the road in room of 
Lemuel Thompson and that the usual hands work under him

Ordered that Malcom McMillan be overseer of the road in room of 
Duncan Brown Senr

Ordered that Jacob Perry be overseer of the road in room of James 
Suggs and that Drury Perry Jonathan Watts Joseph Watters John 
Watters James Lewis Senr Elias Ivey the widow Cox's and Isham 
Cox's hands William Brumble Gideon Carter work under him and that 
his district include the ten mile swamp

Ordered that Adam McKay be overseer of the road in room of Neill 
McLean

Ordered that the old road leading from Iveys Bluff to John Daniels be 
revived and that Isham Williams be overseer thereof & that he work the 
following hands to Wit James Folkes Wm Newton & his negro Thos 
Bullard Theophilus Rucins & James McColskey

Ordered that Danl Johnston be appointed overseer of the Stage Road 
from Fayetteville to Gilchrists Bridge in room and place of Peeter 
Johnston from the fork at McEachnans to the six mile post at Donald 
McDonalds old field

Ordered that John Stewart be appointed processioner for that part of 
this county that lies north of Lumber River in room of Neven McBride

Ordered that Danl Johnston be overseer of the road in room and 
disstrict of Peeter Johnston
