Wednesday August 26th 1812

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Joseph Wood William McNeill and John McNeill Esquires

Ordered that the new road opened by Isaac Sullivan from a causeway on the south 
side of Nunnelly to the road leading from the Big Swamp to the Stage Road be 
deemed in future the Public Road and that the old road between those two points 
be discontinued

Ordered that James McAlpin be exempt from the payment of a poll tax for the year 
1811 which was charged to him by mistake

Ordered that Duncan McEachern Junior be overseer of the road in room of Dugald 
Graham
