Ordered that John Blount be overseer of the road from his brick kiln to 
Shanks house to keep in order with his own hands

Ordered that James Carlisle be appointed overseer of the road in room 
of Daniel McNeill

Ordered that James Lewis pay Eliza Carter twenty dollars for the 
maintenance of a bastard child for one year due this term begotten on 
her body

Ordered that Malcom McMillan & John McMillans Negros work on the 
road leading from William Humphrys to Neill Browns Esqr under 
Samuel Biggs overseer of said road

Ordered that Gilbert Sellers have leave to turn the course of the road 
on the back part of his plantation

Ordered that the County Tax be three shillings and six pence on the 
poll for the year 1812

Ordered that a certain orphan boy named Isham Regan who was 
bound to Benjamin Blount be released from his Indenture & delivered 
to his friends it having appeared to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
said orphan has been ill used by the said Blount

Ordered that James McNeill John McNair and John Little Esqr be a 
committee to settle with Allen Buie administrator of Angus Buie 
deceased & that they report to next term 

Ordered that Daniel McColl be exempt from working on the public road

Ordered that the widow of James Lewis decd shall have leave to keep 
up the bridge on Lumber River at her plantation for her own 
convenience & be liable to no damages that Travellers may sustain 
crossing it as it is not deemed a public bridge

Ordered that James Alford Constable go in person to the house of 
Thomas Lowrie & demand from Nancy Deese who resides there two 
illegitimate children by name Parker and Sally Deese sworn to by said 
Nancy Deese to James Lowrie & that he bring the said children to the 
next Court to be dealt with as the law requires

Ordered that the executors of Charles Thompson's last will and 
testament have leave to sell that part the property belonging to the said 
estate which was assigned for the support of his widow in order enable 
them to make a final division of said estate

Ordered that Jacob Rhodes & Angus Taylor be a committee to settle 
with Jonathan Wishart guardian of the orphans of John McKay & make 
return to next term

Ordered that Isham Councill be overseer of the road in the room of 
Archibald Little and that he work the same hands

Ordered that Charles Moore Angus Taylor and John McNeill be 
assessors of town property for the year 1812
