Beach--Humphrey

   Miss Martha Humphrey of Proctorville and Van Beach of Greenville, N.C., were 
married Wednesday evening at 7:30 in the home of the officiating minister, Rev. 
I.P. Hedgpeth in Lumberton.
   Mrs. Beach is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Humphrey of Proctorville.  
Mr. Beach holds a position with Person-Garrett Tobacco Company.  Attending the 
wedding were Miss Julise Smith of Fairmont and Silas Duley of Paducah, Ky.  
After a two-weeks trip to Atlantic City, N.J., and other northern points they 
well reside in the home of Mrs. Carey Henley.
   

Additional Comments:
Martha Humphrey was the daughter of Jasper Pittman Humphrey and Ethel Jane 
Walters of the Proctorville area.
