                  |  In the name of God Amen
    Mary Bell     |  I Mary Bell of Robeson County

being of sound sence mind and memory bleSsed be
God do this 6th day February 1804 make and publish
this my last will and Testament in manner following
that is to say – First I give and bequeath to my son
Joseph Atkinson one Dollar Cash  -  Second I give to
my son Wm Atkinson one Dollar in cash   Third I give
to my son John Atkinson one Dollar in cash
Fourth I give to my Daughter Lucy Barnes and her
husband James Barnes two hundred and ten acres
of more or leSs Joining of hog Swamp on the North
west side at the end of Atkinsons Mildam and land
my Daughter Lucy the following Negroes and their
increase her life time to wit Truce and Letter and
abe and after my Daughter Lucy Barnes decease
to belong to the heirs of her body and I give all the
remainder of my Estate to my Daughter Lucy Barnes
and her husband James Barnes – and I hereby make
and ordain my friends James Barnes and John Executors
to this my last will and Testament in witneSs whereof 
I the said Mary Bell have to this my last will and
Testament set my hand and seal the day and year
above written signed sealed published and declared by
the said Mary Bell the Testate as her last will and
testament in presence of us who were present at the time
signing and sealing thereof
