Archives, Raleigh, N. C. State of North Carolina Robeson County I Henry Bullock Jr do solemnly swear that I believe the annexed paper writing to be and contain the last Will and Testament of Henry Bullock Senr decd, and that I will well and truly execute the same by first paying his debts and ???his legacies as far as the said Estate shall extend, or the law will charge me; and that I will well and faithfully execute the Office of an Executor, agreeable to the trust and confidence reposed in me, and according to law; so help me God. Henry Bullock Jr. Sworn and subscribed before Executor Me this the 18th day of Decr 1872 W.O. Dick (??) csc Judge of Probate North Carolina Robeson county September 2nd 1871 In the name of God, amen, I Henry Bullock Senr of Robeson County N.C. being of sound mind and memory, blessed be God, but by reason of age and bodily infirmity I am manifestly drawing near my latter end, therefore I do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows. My Soul I remit to God, who gave it and my body to be buried in a christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors herein after named Item 1st It is my will and desire, that all my just debts be paid, by my Executor out of my estate as soon as convenient after my death Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my son Henry Bullock and his heirs, that portion of my land on Northeast side of Ashpole Swamp and East of Stage Road as follows, the Stage Road to be the line from said Swamp to a ditch running out of a bog Southeast then said ditch shall be the line direct to Henrys line, dividing our lands at present, all my lands South and West of Said lines I give and bequeath to my said son Henry Bullock and his heirs forever Item 3rd I give and bequeath to my two Grandsons Nathan M and Allan S. Sons of Eli Bullock the remainder of my lands to be equally divided between the, the them and their heirs forever. Item 4 The remainder of my property at my death to be sold, and equally divided between my son Henry daughter Senith and two grand-daughters Irene, wife of Wm B. Jenkins and Nancy Catharine Jane, wife of Alexr Townsend, Share and Share alike And I do hereby constitute and appoint my sone Henry Bullock Jr. my true and lawful Executor to this my last will and testament. And I hereby revoke and disannul all former wills by me heretofore made, publishing this and this only, to be, my last will and testament. Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Henry Bullock Senr to be his last Will and testament in our presence, who at his request in presence of each other subscribe our names as Witnesses thereto H. Pitman His Mark North Carolina Robeson County Decr 18th 1873 A paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Henry Bullock Senr decd, is this day exhibited before me for Probate by Henry Bullock Jr the Executor therein named and the due execution thereof by the said Henry Bullock Senr is proved by the oath and examination of H. F. Pitman a subscribing witness thereto. It is therefore considered by the Court, that the said paper writing, and every part thereof is the last Will and Testament of Henry Bullock Senr decd, and the same is ordered to be recorded and filed.. And Thereupon the said Henry Bullock Jr, Executor as aforesaid duly qualified as such by taking the oath required by him W A. Dick (?) c.s.c. Judge of Probate
