I Medy Lamb being in my proper mind and memory, do this 18th day of June 1804 make this my last will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say: I give and bequeath to my wife Nancy, one hundred acres of land lying in the fork of great hog swamp and little hog Swamp, joining Josiah Barness and Samuel Britt lines. Also part of one hundred and fifty acres tract joining the above and beginning on said Josiah Barneses line and running along to his own and Josiah Barness dividing corner, then a direct line to the second corner of that survey then a direct line to the beginning corner of that tract, also give her one hundred acres of land that her father left her in his will. Also I give one chest that was called hers and one bed and furniture that was called hers and one sow and seven shoats and one white cow and her calif and yearling that belong to said cow and three Eathen plates and one Eathen Dish and one sospan Earthen, three Earthen barrels, one glass mug, one earthen mug, one small puter baison, three cups and saucers, one sault sellar, one small decantur and one glass, one quart bottle and one flat bottle and three knives and three forks and two tubs and one wedinghoe, woolen wheel, the old one and one pair of cards, two cheers, three petor spoons and one bedstead, one club ax and one coffee mill and one coffee pot and one table and fifteen shillings in money and one umperrellor. 2. I give my daughter Vina one hunting saddle. 3. I give my daughter Anna one ewe and lamb. 4. I give my son David the plantation whereon I now live, involving four hundred and fifty acres only a small piece above given to my wife is excepted. One still and all the sider casks, one cart and all my wooden tools, only what is mentioned to the rest of the children and my wife. 5. I give to my son Stephan one hundred acres of land lying each side little hog Swamp about three quarters of a mile above the plantation where I now live, also one hundred acres lying on and beginning in the Land Cypress Bay joining Mike Barness line south side of Jacob Swamp and give him Dol a negro girl and one cow and calf and one bed, one horse, one plow and one weding ho. 6. I give my son Richard two hundred acres land lying on Jacob Swamp just above the Bear Springs and one hundred acres join Jacob Swamps on each side of the road and fifty acres back of James Barfields on Jacobs Swamp round the Cypress Bay near little hog swamp, and I give him one negro girl named Luck, one horse, colt and saddle and one bed, one rifle gun, one Bible, One Testament and one Dictionary, one broad ax and one weding ho, one pair of steliards, one pair of saddle bags, one slate. 7. I give to my daughter Polly one bed and furniture and one cow and calf and one bedstead. 8. I give to my daughter Marthy one bed and furniture and one cow and calf and one bedstead. 9. I give my daughter Betsey one cow and calf and sixteen head of gees and ewe and lamb and one wheel and one pair of cards. 10. I give to my daughter Patty one cow and calf and sixteen head of gees and one ewe and lamb and one chest. 11. I give to my daughter Nancy one cow and calf one table and all the remainder of my hovel furniture that is not mentioned to the rest and one case and bottles. 12. I give my daughter Appy one bed, one lookin glass, one mare and one cow and calf. 13. I give my daughter Susanna five shillings and the remainder of my Estate I leave to my son Richard to settle my debts and to support my family as need requires, only my riding cheer and harness I except and leave them to be sold and the money to be divided among the hole of my children and I appoint my friends Abram Barfield and Richard Lamb and Jo Lee as Executors to this my last will and Testament and I revoke and make void all other wills before maid by me in witness whereof I set my hand and seal this day and year above ritten...
