I ALEXANDER MACNEILL of the County of Robeson and the State of North Carolina being of Sound mind and memory do make, declare and proclaim this my last will and Testament. I wish my Body to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors & Executrix hereinafter mentioned and as to my worldly affairs I dispose of them in manner and form following Viz: PRIMUS: I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife, CHRISTIAN, the plantation & premises thereunto belonging whereon I now reside for and during her lifetime for the support and maintenance of herself and family. I also give and bequeath to her during her lifetime aforesaid my negroe man JIM and a negro woman, MARY. I likewise give and bequeath to her, her heirs and assigns forever & to be written under disposal of as she in her discretion may think fit and proper among the family my stock of which every nature and description: hogs, sheep etc. The whole of my household,___ and kitchen furniture, farming or any other kind of utensils. ITEM 2: I give and bequeath to my daughter ----KURY -ANNA, my negro girl, Flora to her, her heirs and assigns forever. ITEM 3: I give and bequeath to my four daughters herein after named the future increase of my negro woman MARY, till they ever each one of such issue (---- the like occur) that is my daughter, SARAH, the first-born of MARY'S future offspring. To my daughter, PRISCILLA the second; to my daughter CHRISTIAN, the fourth, and to my daughter, KATHERINE, the third, to them, their heirs and assigns forever. ITEM 4: I give and bequeath to my son JOHN my negro boy, CALVIN. ITEM 5: I give and bequeath to my son, ARCHIBALD, my negro boy, LONDON. ITEM 6: I give and bequeath to my son, HENRY, my negro boy, ANDREW, as also the whole of my land & possessions after his Mother's death. ITEM 7: I give and bequeath to my three sons aforesaid my negro man JIM & negro woman MARY after their Mother's death jointly for them their heirs and assigns. My negro woman MAGDALENE sold and the proceeds of such sale to be applied by Executors and Executrix towards schooling my children & towards building a comfortable house or houses for the convenient residence of my wife & children aforesaid as they in their discretion shall think more proper and useful but having a primary view in the Education of my children which are in their tender & youthful day. Any surplus money or outstanding debts that may remain after my just debts are paid, I leave and bequeath to my four younger daughters aforesaid to let out on interest for their proper use and benefit of them, their heirs and assigns. I nominate, constitute and appoint my beloved wife, CHRISTIAN, Executrix and DUNCAN MACNEILL & DUNCAN MACMILLAN, Executors, of this my last will & testament. 4th day of February in the year of our Lord 1832.
