He was married to Sarah Regan, daughter of Capt. Ralph Regan, RWS and wife Millie of Robeson Co NC. After their marriage they lived in Sampson Co NC for a while, where their oldest child, Martha Parker was born. They soon thereafter removed to the Regan community in eastern Robeson Co NC. Francis Parker was a Veteran of the Revolutionary War, ordained as a Minister of the Gospel by Bishop Francis Asbury. He died in 1830. a member of Regan Methodist Church in eastern Robeson Co NC. His widow, Sarah Regan Parker was remarried in 1833 to Josiah Singletary, another Revolutionary War Veteran of Bladen Co NC. The submitter is a descendant of the daughter, Martha Parker, who married William Byrd of Robeson Co NC. I, Samuel A.
