Robeson County, NC - Will of Neil Wilkison, 1834 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Will of Neil Wilkinson of Robeson County copied from the original document found at the NC Archives in Raleigh, NC. In the name of God,amen. I, Neill Wilkingson, of the state of North Carolina and county of Robeson, being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory (Blefsed be God for his mercy) do make and publish this last will and testament in manner and form following viz, First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Isabella the whole of my land and premises including six hundred acres and upwards and also a Negro man by the name of Parker, also a Negro boy by the name of Moses, and also my whole stock of horses, cattle, hogs, and sheep, and also my household and kitchen furniture, my farming utensils during her lifetime. I also bequeath to the heirs of my beloved daughter Catherine McEachen one dollar and also bequeath to my daughter Mary Fergerson one dollar; I also bequeath unto my beloved daughter Nancy Barlow fifty dollars after the death of my wife Isabella. I also bequeath to my daughters Eliza McQueen and Isabella Graham each one dollar. I give to my daughter Christian one dollar. (the aforesaid property to remain as it is during my wife’s lifetime after all debts are paid and after her decease (my wife) the aforesaid named property to be equally divided among my daughters Margaret, Janet, and Nelly. I also appoint my worthy friend John Graham and my wife Isabella sole executors and executrix of my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this the 5th day of February AD 1834.
