BENJAMIN WEBB b. bef. 1755 & was  in Rockingham Co. N.C. in 1790 m. 
Rhodia.  He had the following children:

(1) Dredd WEBB b. 1770? m. Sarah DIAMOND b. abt 1782 Reedy Fork of Haw 
    River Guilford Co. N.C. daughter of Margaret PRITCHETT & Steward DIAMOND.   

Dred & Sarah WEBB had 2 daughters  

(1a) Marget WEBB who m. maybe Thomas MIDDLETON? 
(1b) Rhoda WEBB b. 3 Dec 1807 Rockingham Co. N.C. d. aft 1870 KY m. 
     23 Aug 1827 Guilford Co. N.C.. William SCHOOLFIELD.  

Plus Dred WEBB had other children-- 

(1c) Mary WEBB b. 1795 d. Sept 1860 m. Benjamin LADYMAN b. abt 
     1797 MD d. bef 1854 Weakley, TN 
(1d) Joshua WEBB b. abt 1795 Rockingham N.C. d. bef 1870 Greene Co AR m. Susan

(2) Thomas WEBB b. 8 Jan 1774 d. 2 Dec 18l69 m. Dorcas (DANNEY or 
    DONNEY)  b. 23 Mar 1776 d. 6 May 1828.  They are both buried in Haw 
    Presbyterian Church Cemetery--Williamsburg Township (between Wentworth 
    & Reidsville, N.C- located off Hwy 150 on Candy Creek Road (2627) on 
    south side of the road about 1/4 mile down a farm road in a forest of 
    trees behind a tobacco field. The church is no longer there. Thomas'  
    brother MEREDITH WEBB & wife RACHEL  GREEN WEBB are buried beside them.

(3) Samuel WEBB b. bef 1799

(4) Gillstrap WEBB b. bet 1775-1794--because he is listed in 1820 
    Rockingham Co. N.C. Census as age 26-45. Had 2 children. 
    William G & Unity Webb 

(4a) William G. WEBB b. 1812 Guilford N.C. d. 30 Jan 1880 m. Nancy 
     GREEN (listed as insane age 35 in 1850 Rockingham Co. Census.

     William Sr. had another wife Angeletie WEBB who d. 13 May 1890 73y 
     & 8 d-- William & Angeletie WEBB are buried in Friendship United 
     Methodist Cemetery - Monticello in Guilford near Rockingham Co line. 
     (4b) Unity WEBB b. 1810/1820 N.C. m. Barzilla G. WRIGHT b. 11 July 1815

(6) MEREDITH WEBB b. 2 Jan 1793 d. 28 Jun 1824 N.C. m. 2 Jan 1813 
    Rockingham, N.C. RACHEL GREEN b. 6 Nov 179l2 N.C. d. 17 Dec 1821 
    Rockingham, N.C. They both died young & are  buried in Haw 
    Presbyterian  Church Cemetery--Williamsburg Township--see directions 
    under brother Thomas  & Dorcas Webb since they are buried there also. 
    Meredith & Rachel Green WEBB had 4 children 

(6a) Samplett WEBB b. 1815 Guilford Co. N.C. d. 22 Sept 22 Sept 1875 
     m. 3 Jan 1842 Guilford Co. N.C. Polly SOCKWELL.
     They have a son Thomas M. WEBB b. 1852 m. Ellen B. CLIMER b. 
     4 Mar 1859 d. 12 Jan 1908.   
     Thomas has a son Samplet E. WEBB b. 20 Dec 1878 d. 7 July 1927.  
     Thomas M., Ellen Climer WEBB 7 son Samplet WEBB are all buried at 
     Friendship United Methodist Church.   
     Samplett & Polly Sockwell also had daughters  
     Rachel WEBB b. 1854  
     Mary WEBB b. 1856 
(6b) Ginn (Green WEBB b. 1814 
(6c) RHODA WEBB b. 1 Apr 1817 d. 1904 Peggs, OK m. Guilford Co. N.C.    
     Rev. John HINDS b. 1 Oct 1809 Overton Co. TN d. 26 July 1862 Viney 
     Grove AR.  
     They are both buried in 1st Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery     
     in Prairie Grove, AR near Cincinnati, AR (my great great grandparents)
