MCKINNEY FAMILY CEMETERY IN MAYFIELD, ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NC Located 1/4 mile south of NC 700 slightly east of the intersection of Mayfield Rd and NC 700 on private property. Cemetery is well kept and mowed. Some graves are sucken. This is the supposed cemetery originally on the Nathaniel McKinney and Rachel Hensley farm in the mid-1800s. Adkins, Nathaniel McKinney, Rachel Hensley, John Brooks McKinney, Emma S Poindexter, Mary Haslestine McKinney, Polly Essex in what is assumed to be some of the 21 unmarked graves.
