Catherine and husband William ALEXANDER..Petition for Divorce

Memorial of Catherine ALEXANDER of Rockingham County, NC states she 
married one William ALEXANDER, but after bearing a child and living 
with him a few years, her said husband sold all of his property and 
left your petitioner without any means to support herself and her 
helpless offspring. Her husband has been absent about four years, but 
she made use of her own industry to support herself and child. Prays 
for a divorce from her said husband.
