JOESPH MARTIN In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that the defendant, JOSEPH MARTIN is not a resident of this State, and he not having an attorney at law, or in fact. It is therefore ordered on motion of ROBERT WILLIAMS, ESQ., attorney for the Plaintiff, that the depositions of witnesses be taken, to be read on the part of the plaintiff on the trial of this case; the plaintiff giving public notice in the newspaper published by WILLIAM BOYLAN, in Raleigh, of the time and place, when and where he proposes to take such depositions; which notice shall be published 60 days before the time appointed for the examination of such witnesses.
