ROCKINGHAM COUNTY       Oct. Term, 1808

WILLIAM BRADBERRY

Vs.

JOSEPH MARTIN

On motion of the Plaintiff’s attorney to take the deposition of GOV. ROBERT 
WILLIAMS, at JOHN LENOX’S Castle on the 20th of December next, to be read in 
evidence in a suit now pending in the Superior Court of Rockingham County, 
whereon WILLIAM BRADBERRY is plaintiff and JOSEPH MARTIN is defendant, giving 
30 days public notice in BOYLAN’S Publication at least 30 days before the 
taking of the said deposition; and as it appears to the Court that JOSEPH 
MARTIN has no known attorney or any in fact for him, it is ordered by the 
Court that such disposition shall be read in evidence in said suit, taken 
agreeable to the above time and place.
