LANER and PASCHAL VAN HOOK, NANCY VAN HOOK; JACOB VAN HOOK; and WILLIAM VAN HOOK, heirs at law of AARON VAN HOOK, deceased Vs. THOMAS L. SHARP, JAMES SIMPSON and JAMES LANIER (Kind of suit not given) It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, THOMAS L. SHARP, resides outside the limits of this State: it is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, a newspaper printed in Greensboro, that unless the said Defendants appear at our next Court to be held in the Court House at Wentworth on the 5th Monday after the 4th Monday in September, 1842, then and there to plead answer or demur, judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte.
