LINDSAY, ROBERT WALL and his wife, PENELOPE WALL, RUTH LINDSAY, JOHN LINDSAY, and _____ LINDSAY Petition for Partition of Slaves It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, JOSEPH G. PORTER, JAMES B. PORTER, WM. R. PORTER, and MICHAEL BUCKHALTER and his wife, REBECCA BUCKHALTER, reside outside the limits of this State: it is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, a newspaper printed in Greensboro, that unless the said Defendants appear at our next Court to be held in the Court House at Wentworth on the 4th Monday in February next, then and there to plead answer or demur, judgment will be entered against them.
