STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA       SUPERIOR COURT OF LAW & EQUITY
ROCKINGHAM COUNTY              December Term 1848

WILLIAM R. STRONG, Executor of  ROBERT STRONG, deceased

          Vs.

JOHN C. MENZIES, ADOLPHUS D. JONES, THOMAS HAMLIN JR. and his wife, MARTHA 
HAMLIN, Administrators and Administratrix of ERASMUS D. JONES, deceased, and 
against ELLINOR JONES, under the age of 21

Bill of Injunction  

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that two of  the defendants, 
JOHN C. MENZIES, ADOLPHUS D. JONES, reside outside the limits of this State: 
it is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six 
successive weeks in the Patriot, a newspaper printed in Greensboro, that 
unless the said Defendants appear at our next Court to be held in the Court 
House at Wentworth on the 5th Monday after the 4th Monday in March A.D. 1849, 
then and there to plead answer or demur, judgment will be taken pro confesso 
and heard ex parte .
Witness, JOHN L. LESUEUR  , Clerk of our Court, at office in Wentworth, on the 
20th day  of December, 1848.
