STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA          ROCKINGHAM COUNTY COURT
May Term, 1809

JOSEPH WILLIAMS

        Vs.

ROBERT WILLIAMS

Original Attachment, returned, levied upon a tract of land, etc.

It is ordered by the Court that all proceedings be stayed for the space of six 
months, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that ROBERT WILLIAMS 
is not an inhabitant of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for three weeks in the Raleigh Minerva, that unless the 
said Defendant appear at the next term of this Court to be held for the County 
of Rockingham and plead to issue within six months, judgment will be entered 
against him.
