Saturday, Sept. 5, 1829, Patriot (Greensboro, N. C.)
Brigade Orders
Rockingham County, N. C.  Headquarters, Eighth Brigade
MAJOR WILLIAM M. WALL of Rockingham County, having been appointed Inspector 
with the rank of Major to the 8th Brigade, of N. Carolina Militia, will be 
respected and obeyed accordingly; JAMES SCALES JR., ESQ., having been 
appointed Aide de Camp to the Brigadier General of the 8th Brigade; North 
Carolina Militia will be respected and obeyed accordingly; and CLAYBORN WALL, 
ESQ., appointed Deputy Quarter Master to the 8th Brigade of N. C. Militia, 
will be obeyed and respected accordingly. The Militia of the 8th Brigade will 
be reviewed by Regiments on Monday, the 26th of October next.
