Democratic District Convention

On Tuesday, the 6th instant, the delegates from the different counties in the 
sixth Congressional District assembled at the Court House in Winston, and were 
called to order by Dr. Thom. W. Keen of Rockingham …

On motion of Hon. A.M. Scales of Rockingham …[a number of issues were 
addressed at this Convention.]
