Death of Mrs. Galloway

Reidsville, Aug 28 - Mrs. Sallie Scales Galloway, wife of Mayor A.H. Galloway, 
died at the family residence on North Main street at 11:30 o'clock last night. 
Deceased had been in bad health for several months and the death was not 
unexpected but has cast a gloom over the entire town as she was universally 
loved. She is survived by a husband, four daughters and four sons and scores 
of sorrowing relatives. She was a sister of the late Governor Scales. Funeral 
services will be conducted at the First Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon 
at 3 o'clock by Rev. D.I. Craig, the pastor. The interment will take place at 
Greenview Cemetery.
