EDEN— Gladys Smith Hopkins, 74, of 728 Piney Grove Road, Kernersville, 
died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical 
Center in Winston-Salem. 

The services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. 
Burial will follow at Overlook Cemetery. 

Mrs. Hopkins was born in Mayodan and was formerly employed by Baxter, 
Kelly & Faust. 

Additional Comments:
Gladys' first husband was Henry Lee Shelton.  He died in Leaksville, NC 
(now Eden) approximately 1957.  Her second husband was Willie Hopkins.
